From large corporations and universities to startups and government departments, innovation is now a universal and fundamental ambition. For the Gulf region in particular, it has become the driving force behind diversification and the the transformation into a knowledge-based economy, designed to lead society in the 21st century.
Running since 2008, Innovation Arabia has positioned itself as an essential forum where all such bodies can convene, collaborate and push the boundaries of possibility further.
Organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, the conference highlights new platforms of innovation, and helps organisations solve the challenges they face in integrating technology and innovation into their DNA. Its aim is to enable visitors to value innovation as a strategic axis of their organisation’s development, one that influences both their business model and how they produce, work and interact with their partners and customers.
For the 13th edition in 2020, the event is themed around ‘Building the Future of Business and Innovation: The Internet of Things (IOT) and People’. There are four dedicated conference tracks: The Future of Work and Play; Smart Cities; Learning, Wellbeing and Trust; and Ethics and Technology – The Internet of Things.
