Inaugural Dubai Classics Countdown Begins

Music fans in the UAE are encouraged to act quickly to ensure they secure their tickets to the first-ever Dubai Classics, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from February 6-8. The world-famous sopranos Sarah Brightman and Magida Al Roumi are set to amaze a full house of fans with many of the well-known hits that have redefined their respective genres.

Residents and visitors will recognise Sarah Brightman from her celebrated song, “Time to Say Good-bye” – a regular staple to the Dubai Fountain Show. However, the world’s best-selling soprano possesses an array of songs, as well as a voice with a three-octave range, that have captured imaginations for decades. Brightman will grace Dubai to showcase her unique talent as she promotes her latest album, Dreamchaser. She will also provide her fans with a rare performance of the songs that she will sing in outer space – the same songs that will give her the title of the first recording artist to ever perform outside of our planet, when she blasts off as a member of the Russian space crew. Sarah Brightman will perform on February 6 -7.

Capping off Dubai Classics on February 8 will be one of the most beloved voices in the Arab world – Magida El Roumi. Known for her graceful voice, Magida’s highly-anticipated performance is quickly selling out. Her concert in Sheikh Rashid Hall, DWTC will see her performing songs from her latest album, Ghazal, as well as a selection of her most famous hits. Marking her 40th year as a performer, Magida’s concert will be one of the most memorable nights in the UAE music calendar.

Dubai Classics will run from February 6-8. To purchase tickets, visit Virgin megastores in the UAE or
