Dubai International Jewellery Week 2012 Set To Shine

​​​​​Dubai International Jewellery Week, the most anticipated jewellery consumer show of the year, starts tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2:00pm at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Taking place in Za’abeel Hall from 21-24 November 2012, the show will be packed with the most exclusive, stylish and one-of-a-kind pieces from international jewellery designers. Offering visitors the chance to find perfect gifts at exclusive show prices just in time for the holiday season, this show is not to be missed. More than 320 luxury jewellery brands from 25 countries will present their latest designs and collections, including the widest array of engagement rings, statement necklaces, bracelets and earrings in a truly international environment. Over 160 new and 150 returning retailers from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the United Kingdom expect to do brisk trade over the four days. Discovering the perfect gemstone or jewellery piece has never been easier, with this year’s show laid out in nine designated and easy to access Avenues. These include Luxury Avenue, Dazzling Avenue, Elegant Avenue and many more. “Dubai International Jewellery Week is one of the most keenly awaited consumer luxury shows in a region that is passionate about jewellery. Show highlights include a one-of-a-kind 214-carat emerald on display from Dubai-based jewellery house Dhamani, with a price tag of AED3.6million. Distinguished jewellers Ahmad Kurdi Fine Jewellery will be displaying its most unique pieces, including a stunning pair of 51.47 carat earrings comprising drop down rubies and circular diamonds, for less than AED50,000/-. Lucky visitors will have the opportunity to win onsite raffle draw prizes, such as a freshwater pearl necklace studded with natural coloured stones in 18-carat white gold and an 18-carat white gold ring embedded with diamonds and sapphires courtesy of Dhamani, an 18-carat white gold ring embedded with diamonds and beautiful blue topaz by F.R. Dubai International Jewellery Week will run from 21 – 24 November 2012 and is open between 2pm – 10pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and between 3pm – 10pm on Friday.
