Over the past 18 years the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) has firmly established itself as one of the largest and most important specialised exhibitions in the region. WETEX is organised under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA.
The exhibition is committed to pursuing sustainable development and accelerating the transition towards a green economy, not only in the region, but all over the world. Highly successful, the event has come to be known as the leading industry gathering and serves as a key platform that brings together international exhibitors, specialists, decision makers and investors interested in fossil fuels, renewable energy, solar energy and nuclear energy.
WETEX has been growing every year, attracting more sponsors, partners, experts, and government organisations. Last year it attracted over 1,950 exhibitors and over 24,500 visitors from 47 countries, in addition to over 67 sponsors. Moreover, the event provided a forum for all attendees to learn more about the latest innovations, technologies, advances in research, regulatory information and other developments in water, energy and the environment through free-to-attend seminars.
The 19th edition of WETEX will feature the theme ‘At the Forefront of Sustainability.’ This is an exceptional opportunity to join a noble cause and demonstrate expertise on a global scale.
