After making its UAE debut in Dubai Festival City last year, SPS Automation is moving to Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) for 2019 – enabling an even larger and more comprehensive event to take place.
Tapping into the region’s growing automation, Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors, the event is now a key date in the diary for professionals who need to stay abreast of how current thinking and innovation in these dynamic fields affects their business. For example, the industrial and building control automation market – a key SPS focus – is worth an estimated AED6.9bn ($1.89bn) in the UAE alone. Manufacturing and logistics are other key sectors for this show.
SPS is built on a rich 28-year history as Europe’s leading exhibition for electric automation. This track record encompasses five international shows that attract more than 2,400 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors combined. As automation has diversified into new technologies – such as AI and the IoT – the show has grown and adapted too, positioning itself at the cutting edge of modern business and commerce.
For its DWTC debut, the show will feature a diverse agenda of presentations, showcases and networking opportunities, plus a conference involving key stakeholders and government representatives.
