Co-located alongside three complementary events – Gulfood Manufacturing, Yummex and Private Label & Licensing Middle East – Seafex ME is part of a set of specialised trade shows that together attract hundreds of buyers from the catering, food service and retail trades across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
These three regions are of critical importance, for one powerful reason. They lead the world in growth potential for the seafood sector. In particular, the MENA market is predicted to expand at 5.2 per cent CAGR between 2018 and 2023. Similarly, the United Nations believes most growth over the coming decade will be concentrated in developing countries, particularly in Asia.
Each year, Seafex offers professionals an excellent opportunity to network, do business and discover the trends shaping their industry. The event ranges across live, chilled and frozen seafood, and from mass market to premium and specialist product and service areas. It’s also a key opportunity to access the latest thinking in product innovation, sustainability initiatives and consumer tastes.
2019 is the show’s eighth edition, and a testament to its growing appeal. This year, 98 exhibitors from 18 countries will take part. In addition, around 550 buyers are already confirmed to attend, from 160 different countries.
