The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) launched in 2005 as the first research and teaching institution focused on governance and public policy in the Arab world. Since its inauguration, a major part of its role lies in organising international and regional conferences as well as specialised workshops and forums that facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the Middle East and the rest of the world.
Its annual calendar of events includes the UAE Public Policy Forum, the Public Administration Forum and the MBRSG Conference all inspired by the vision of the institution’s patron, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
“The leaders of tomorrow are our focus and the foundation of the future,” he says. “Our duty is to advance their skills and knowledge to continually enhance the quality of public administration.”
The events are accompanied by a full range of academic and training programmes that aim to help future leaders meet public administration challenges across the region. These programmes have been developed and are delivered in partnership with Harvard Kennedy School. MBRSG also collaborates with government and private institutions, both regionally and internationally.
