In recent years, materials handling has developed in ways previously unimaginable. Smart warehousing, powered by robotics and other technologies, has become mainstream due to pioneering ecommerce giants, opening up whole new dimensions to the sector. Yet at the same time, traditional solutions continue to go from strength to strength as well. Arguably, the emergence of smart tech has inspired these to become even more efficient and cost-effective.
Given this exciting context, the ninth edition of Materials Handling Exhibition couldn’t be better timed. Covering warehousing, intralogistics and supply chain solutions, it is the region’s only dedicated event for professionals keen to see those latest products and solutions in action, and to learn about ways to improve productivity and efficiency.
For 2019, focus areas span every aspect of the industry, from forklift trucks and lifting equipment to vacuum lifters, hoists, batteries, cleaning and many others.
Running over three days, the event attracts several thousand visitors each year. The main sectors catered for include logistics and supply chain management, retail, FMCG, automotive, oil and gas and pharmaceuticals: the organisers have even created targeted agendas for each.
