The global conference of The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) was inaugurated in 1959, but this is the first time the event will be held in the Gulf region. This makes the 31st edition an especially important one for those working in the field regionally.
Run in parallel with the 4th Gulf Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, this joint event is held in partnership between ISAC and two regional bodies: the Emirates Infectious Diseases Society, and the Saudi Society for Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
This dual conference and congress is the ideal forum to bring together world and regional leaders in infectious diseases, antimicrobial chemotherapy, infection control and clinical microbiology.
Delegates can share and acquire knowledge and experience, through a rich educational and scientific setting. The agenda covers the latest advances in research and practice through an extensive programme of lectures, presentations, workshops and discussions, all with the in-depth scientific content for which the two events have become known.
