The Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Show is the region's most notable event for wood specialists and attracts the world's leading manufacturers, traders, suppliers, machinery companies and end-users. Year on year the show surpasses all attendance expectations, owing to the fact that the UAE is the region's leading construction market, especially with the upcoming Expo 2020.
The 2019 show is already generating quite a buzz due to the exponential increase in the number of construction and building projects. Across the GCC, infrastructure plans alone have expanded to a phenomenal $2.6 trillion. This year's show, will feature new nomenclature and tools provided by Eumabois, seven country pavilions, and more than 10,000 elite professionals who will receive an opportunity to interact with decision makers and industry leaders.
In 2018, the tradeshow hosted over 10,000 international visitors, 300 exhibitors from 55 countries, with six country pavilions from Canada, China, Finland, Russia, Turkey, and the US. The attendees were a good mix of architects, craftsmen, interior designers, builders and other industry professionals. Participants were introduced to the latest machinery and technologies, which included woodwork tools, fittings, saw milling equipment, and much more. The event was also a unique opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to network and build new partnerships.
