Dubai International Food Safety Conference (DIFSC) is an annual event organised by the Food Control Department of Dubai Municipality. The upcoming conference will discuss global food regulatory trends, and has an impressive list of speakers lined up to share their knowledge and expertise.
2018's edition of DIFSC is packed with interesting topics and discussions, such as Towards Collaborative Leadership to Counter Food Fraud, which will highlight the transformation of the food landscape and the shaping of a more convergent food safety regulatory environment in the region. Other interesting sessions include the Software Fair for Predictive Microbiology and Risk Assessment Tools – hands-on demonstrations of software tools, and the Overview of Industry Approaches to Prevent and Manage Food Fraud Incidents. There are also various workshops on the roster.
The programme also features a poster presentation, which is a unique opportunity for attendees to present their work to 2,500 delegates, and subsequently be eligible for the poster competition. The organising committee has also invited students in the field of food safety and applied nutrition research, to enter an oral presentation competition in order for their work to be appreciated and recognised.
The previous DIFSC hosted 200 international presenters, thousands of visitors, and a wide array of workshops and sessions.
