An inaugural event for 2019, The Dubai World Congress For Self-Driving Transport will bring together prominent experts, specialists, policy makers, technology manufacturers, researchers and leading academia to define and shape the future of self-driving transport globally.
The agenda will feature 30+ speakers, 21 expert sessions and 100+ exhibitors. Its aim is to raise public awareness of modern and future technologies in self-driving transport, and identify the impact of self-driving technology on investments and various transport strategies.
From government leaders to the world’s leading car manufacturers, an anticipated audience of over 500 will gather to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities, and form partnerships to gain competitive advantage through cutting-edge solutions.
The event is the first of its kind in the MENA region, and has been organised by the Government of Dubai and Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), in cooperation with Khalifa City and NewCities Foundation.
During the Congress, the winners of the Dubai World Challenge for Self-driving Transport will also be announced. This competition, which carries total prizes exceeding US $5m, was announced by the RTA during the LA CoMotion Congress in 2017.
