Now entering its 15th edition, the Dubai Wood and Wood Machinery Show has established itself as the Middle East’s only dedicated trade event for the wood and woodworking machinery industry.
This industry is an important component in key regional sectors such as construction and furniture, and continues to grow in parallel with them. The UAE construction market, for example, is projected to grow by 5.5 per cent CAGR between 2019 and 2024, and the wood industry is expected to reap the rewards of that demand: 70 per cent of the GCC wood profession is involved in supplying the construction sector.
The Dubai Wood and Wood Machinery Show acts as a convergence point for manufacturers, traders, suppliers, machinery companies and end-users in the wood industry chain. It is the ideal opportunity for regional and international companies to showcase solutions, and build new strategic relationships with buyers, traders and investors.
Featured products include woodworking machinery, blades and knives, tools, abrasives and industry solutions. This element now attracts more than 300 exhibiting companies, plus seven country pavilions, ensuring the event’s status as the region’s premier trade show, for buyers and sellers alike. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend in 2020.
