The Dubai International Horse Fair is the biggest equestrian event of the year and at the very heart of the industry in the Middle East.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, it has developed into a core international event, supporting a thriving equestrian industry in the UAE and the wider region, and ideally timed as a run up to the Dubai World Cup, which is held just after the fair.
Established in 2004, the DIHF is the only show where you can meet the most successful and influential owners and breeders of horses as well as those related to stables and clubs, amidst the excitement of one of the most important Arabian horse competitions in the global calendar.
Now in its 9th year, the show incorporates almost everything pertaining to horses and the equestrian industry, from supplier presentations and demonstrations, riding classes, pony rides and an art exhibition. The show will also see the return of the already established Horse Auction for Arabian and thoroughbreds from local studs.
The Dubai International Horse Fair is widely recognised by the industry as the must-attend event in the region, given the UAE’s strong traditional roots in horsemanship and a rich history in equestrian sporting excellence.
