DICEC Halls
Sheikh Rashid Hall
Our purpose built venue for large scale audiences, the 7,703 square metre Sheikh Rashid Hall is a structural showcase. Designed as a column-free space with versatility of function and flexibility of sizing as its greatest assets.
Divisible by centrally operable soundproof walls, this 12.00 metre high, ultramodern venue can be customised for any event from plenary sessions and concerts to sporting events and theatrical productions.
Configured as an auditorium, this venue can provide 2,500 retractable tiered seats, an additional 2,000 seats when levelled, 10 interpretation booths, two green rooms and three backstage offices. Alternatively, Sheikh Rashid Hall can be sub-divided into six large meeting rooms, which in combination can accommodate up to 6,400 people cocktail style and 3,800 people banquet style.
Sheikh Maktoum Hall
The 3,859 square metre Sheikh Maktoum Hall is interlinked to the Sheikh Rashid Hall and designed to blend in with the same architectural style. As a conference venue, it can be divided into four soundproof meeting rooms each seating 600 to 750 delegates. This hall is also ideal for banquets that cater for about 1,800 guests.
The flexible design allows for integration of Sheikh Maktoum Hall and Sheikh Rashid Hall into a single level enormous meeting area or exhibition space spanning over 11,562 square metres, with a capacity to accommodate over 5600 people (banquet style).
Za’abeel Hall
With an impressive 15,002 square metres, Za’abeel Hall can be subdivided into three separate sub halls. Za’abeel Hall can accommodate up to 12,000 people,making it the perfect venue for big exhibitions, elegant weddings, corporate staff parties and concerts.
Al Zaheyah Ballroom
Situated in the Abu Hail area, this elegant ballroom offers a large foyer, Majlis, bride's room, and can accommodate up to 600 people.
Halls 1 - 8
Surrounding both our concourses 1 and 2 we have 8 multi-purpose halls which can be adapted to suit your needs. With high ceilings and a fully flexible structure these halls provide over 31,000 square metres of exhibition space and can be divided internally into separate sub halls. All of these halls are interlinked by our concourses.
Sheikh Saeed Halls
The newest addition to DICEC is the Sheikh Saeed Halls, a state-of-the-art extension which opened for the 2009 Exhibition Season. The four new halls add approximately 25,000 square metres of exhibition space, including the impressive 'Arena', a 9100 square metre venue boasting 14 metre high ceilings to accomodate a range of special events, bringing the DICEC's total amount of covered exhibition space to over 1 million square feet.
